It's a bomb but it hasn't blown up yet, so eh.

This is a 2013 model that is still chugging along in 2021, so it is definitely reliable.

No problems, just enough power to power the system, decent price.

This has been powering my system for a solid 7 years, I do not power down my system but rather just let it go into sleep mode. No issues. This is a 2013 model very much hated across the internet, but I have had no issues with it. The CX series has since been improved and is receiving great reviews now. This for the most part still is the value price to performance budget pick, But at the right price.. Consider EVGA BQ if cheaper is what you really want.

    • Fully-modular PSU wasn't seen as necessary with my ATX build, and this PSU offers plenty of power to my computer.
    • The 24-pin cable especially wasn't hard to work with given the space my case offered.
    • For its price it was a pretty good deal and continues to run strong.

First and last PSU i've ever bought in my entire life!

Although this a Semi-Modulat PSU, it got the job done! That's all you need to know to be honest! Never had a single problem, even with my 9590, even though it turned into a dragon when loaded.

So glad I got at least a semi-modular. Love the flat black CPU and PCIe cables that come with it, but it comes with ketchup and mustard 24 pin cables. Added some sleeved cable extensions and it looks fantastic.

Not anywhere near as bad as the internet might tell you. Just don't stick it in a high-heat environment and expect it to output all 500 advertised watts.
