Description
This build is a massive upgrade from my old one I built in 2020/ 2021. Going from a RTX 2060 Super to the new RX 9070 XT is an insane upgrade. Really impressed with AMD and even more shocked that I was able to get my hands on one at MSRP on launch day.
I am very thankful for my coworker who helped me with this build and helped me find everything I was looking for. I'm more of a casual PC gamer, and am still learning about all of this, so I couldn't have done it without his help! In a few of the attached images, you will see his 3080 he let me borrow for setup. I decided to go with red RGB lighting once I got my 9070 XT so that everything could match (even though the card allows for RGB customization) and because it just looks mean! Plus, red is a better color for nighttime when my wife is trying to sleep lol. Very happy with this build, and looking forward to the years to come with it!

CPU
Really impressed with this CPU. Does everything I need it to do at lightning speeds.
CPU Cooler
Absolutely love this cooler. Not only does it look awesome, but it performs its job very well at a very affordable price.
Motherboard
Great motherboard. BIOS is very easy to navigate and update. Lots of slots for various amounts of upgrades, and I really love the layout of all the ports. Very easy to cable manage with this MB.
Memory
Very fast memory, glad I went with 32GB to future-proof my build.
Storage
Great SSD. Very fast and plenty of storage at a reasonable price. Will definitely be adding another one of these to my build later on.
Video Card
Have to say I am thoroughly impressed with AMD on this release. They've stepped their game up significantly and the actual performance is blowing previous speculation out of the water. I was stoked to get my hands on this card at MSRP as well. Everything runs really smooth with no issues and looks absolutely beautiful. Very happy with this card, especially at the price point!
Case
Incredible case. So much room to work as both glass panels come off very safely and smooth. Case fans are a bit loud but they do their job very well. Building everything and cable-management was extremely easy with this case. Could not recommend more.
Power Supply
Very nice and efficient PSU. Reasonable price for 1000W. A bit overkill for my build but I wanted it to be as future-proof as possible.
Monitor
I purchased this monitor through Amazon. Great budget-friendly 1440p monitor. I do wish there were more ports than what it comes with though. I also say 4 stars because upon arrival, the screen was warped out of the frame, which is causing minor color/ picture distortion around the edges. I can live with it though. Manufacturer was impossible to reach through Amazon, and I just ended up getting a small percentage of what I paid given back to me. I will probably upgrade to something else in the future but this is good for now.
