Description

Using for Numerical Methods (MatLab), CFD (AnSYS), and CAD (SolidWorks/ProE). Totally not going to be used to play minecraft on maxed out settings. CPU and RAM prioritized over GPU for large computations.

I personally would have saved the money on the ROG board and went with a 2070. And why the extra wireless adapter since you did buy the expensive ROG board with wifi built in? Should have worked great out of the box. I went with the gigabyte z390 wifi board for $179 and get my full cable bandwidth of 200mbps over 802.11ac so i'm sure the the asus would have done so as well. With the $179 board you could have upgraded the 2060 to a 2070 for about $80 and had $40 left in your pocket. (and the $35 still in your pocket for the wifi card you bought for some unknown reason).

It is a nice build though, I just thought i'd say would I would do in case someone else is using this build as a road map.

Personally I think you should have gotten an i7 and spent more money on the graphix car but overall great build looks clean. idk if this was your first build, but if it was at least you lost your pc build virginity lol.

He won't be gaming, mostly for code which prioritize mostly CPU and RAM more than the graphics card but the graphics card proves to handle minesweeper at 1 FPS so it should be good.

Was waiting for this response! No animosity towards you whatsoever but Numerical Methods and CFD (MatLab and AnSYS) utilize CPU and RAM almost completely to carry out constructions and calculations - GPU isn't as important in these programs.

Ohhh lmao I didn't read the paragraph you wrote, I just assumed you gamed since that is what most PCs here are for but I was wrong. Have fun coding tho!
